British jewelry designer Solange Azagury-Partridge launched her first boutique on Madison Avenue, New York. It’s her first shop outside of London. Solange Azagury-Partridge is known for creating unconventional fine jewelry such as the red enamel and gold Hotlips ring and the Poison ring that has a secret compartment.
Her store can be easily mistaken for closed because of darkened windows, save for a single illuminated button you push for access. The decor stands apart with a ceiling displaying the constellations using 630,000 of Swarovski crystals and a dazzling hanging disco ball, and the floor is covered by a vibrant rainbow-striped parquet rug.
Among her favorite pieces is the diamond studded Mirror box, which is her variation of a disco ball turned into a poison ring with a hidden compartment. Prices range from $1,500 for an enamel and silver Hotlips ring to $350,000.
