A rare Nintendo World Championship gold cartridge, which had originally been listed on eBay starting at a pre-price of $25,000, has been sold to JJ Hendricks for $17,500 only.

The seller had canceled the first FedEX shipment due to its having the wrong address given by JJ Hendricks, and the seller has to resend the item again. Here's what happened after the seller decided to ship it again:

When JJ Hendricks finally received the shipment, he was pleased to find the Nintendo World Championships Gold neatly packaged inside with a custom built display case. He calls it the “Holy Grail of Gaming.” There were only ever 26 of the NWC Gold ever made and they are not real gold but just gold paint.
