Femme Bot fantasy

Japanese researchers have built a robot that will soon strut her stuff down a Tokyo catwalk.

It has slightly oversized eyes, a tiny nose and a shoulder length hair-do. It also boasts 42 motion motors programmed to move like a flesh-and-blood fashion model.

A "cybernetic human" HRP-4C, designed to look like an average Japanese woman, appears during its demonstration in Tsukuba, near Tokyo. The humanoid robot having a female face and black hair trimmed down to 43 kilograms (95 pounds) to make a debut at a fashion show later in the month.




Yes, she's waif, has a pretty face , a fierce strut ,never complains and certainly never late.

Q... yet another robot who fancies herself as a Fashion Model. Not bad...^^

Femme Bot : BFF?

Well , the last several posts I've made about 'Femme Bots' are about satisfying the male fantasy.

How about having a femme bot that is a girl's best friend , instead?

Indeed, not a GF but a BFF.

Femme Bot ... Kiss Me!

The search for the ultimate 'Femisapien' continues.

By and large, a male robot being the de riguer , robotic geniuses are scrambling to define a male's fantasy of a femme bot.

Some thing which is the epitome of what appeals to the male species.

Something curvy. Poised. High levels of social interactive skills. Personality. The ability to have phun.

To kiss. Hug. Boogey.

So Sega came up with E.M.A , or if you want to humanize her , just call her Emma.^^

Not yet Victoria's Secrets but she'll make you quite happy.

Q .. it'll be sad if she ends up an escort-of-sorts though.

Supermodel Femme Bot

While robots certainly come in many shapes and sizes, they tend to be, by and large, masculine.

Seeing the lack of representation of the fairer sex, Tomotaka Takahashi (below; famous tech-designers seldom look this good, btw) took on the task of creating a robot that didn't just look female, but moved in a feminine way as well.

Thus the FT (female type) robot was born.

The FT is a fine diva that can perform a graceful catwalk with all the twists, turns and poses of a supermodel.

Her creator Tomotaka Takahashi believes that half all the robots that will be created in the future will be females.

While making FT he consulted with professional models on how to give FT a feminine walk and posture.

Her lean, athletic frame made up of 23 motors and 2 gyroscopes, and needs a checkup twice a year; needing to be maintained biannually by a robotic gynaecologist.

Of the two FT’s built one is going up for auction and the bidding starts at $300,000.

Dollars, not Yen.

Mind you.

Do I smell the coming-era of 'Femme Bot Supermodels?' ^^

Q ... Just imagine, there might come a day where FT can memorise, recall, process and emulate any top model's facial expressions, walks and poses. Then make it all her own. Amazing.
