Michael Jackson, the child star turned King of Pop, died of cardiac arrest on June 25. At the time of his death, his debt was estimated to be $500 million.

To help settle some of his money problems, Jackson initially agreed to allow an auction of most of the contents of his beloved Neverland Ranch. The auction was canceled after Michael Jackson's representatives and the auction house handling the sale reached an agreement to return the items. Jackson's camp suggested at the time a museum might be in the works.

This sheer, white, rhinestone-encrusted costume shirt, with a rusty zipper and soiled collar, was worn by Jackson during the Jacksons’ 1981 Triumph Tour. Estimate: $400 to $600

Jackson also wore this white leather Capezio shoe (upper and sole pictured) during the Triumph Tour, along with a cotton, rhinestone-stitched bodysuit and matching pants, both of which are included in this lot. Estimate: $300 to $500

This jeweled crown, with its “white mink fur made to resemble ermine” and fake pearls and gems, is just one of many royalty-themed items on sale, from a ceremonial scepter to a full-length red-velvet cape embroidered on the inside with the words "TO OUR FATHER, KING MICHAEL, FATHER'S DAY, JUNE 21, 1998, FROM YOUR LOVING CHILDREN, PRINCE MICHAEL, PRINCESS PARIS". Estimate: $1,000 to $1,500.

The Jackson figurine is part of a larger sculpture. In it, Jackson sits on a fence atop a hill singing to an audience of adoring children. Estimate: $4,000 to $6,000

Jackson sported this silver lamé jacket during the Jacksons’ 1984 Victory Tour. Lined with white silk, it is covered in Swarovski crystals and gold-seed-bead detailing. Too understated? Not to worry: It comes with a leather sash laden with gold, purple, and clear beads.Estimate: $15,000 to $20,000
