Hotel Contempo has recently opened the first boutique hotel in a serene tropical-garden setting 11 kilometers from the bustling capital city of Managua, Nicaragua. The boutique hotel has 18 spacious rooms and suites wrapped in gleaming white marble and local white Travertine tiled, mostly jacuzzied rooms, the place is intimate, sleek and classy, as evidenced by the tickle-ready ivory in the lobby; the 1.2-acre grounds a regular arboretum of mango, breadfruit and avocado trees.
Hotel Contempoo was designed and built by a prominent Nicaraguan entrepreneur, Jaime Osorio Bustamante, whose family runs a variety of businesses in Central America. Bustamante plans to add 18 more rooms and suites and a spa to the hotel by year’s end, and create a string of Contempo boutique hotels throughout Central America.
Hotel Contempo has a pool, event and meeting space for up to 300 people, a business center, a lobby piano lounge and bar, a wine bar, and a restaurant serving market-driven Mediterranean cuisine with a Nicaraguan touch.
