The annual guide, which the high-society magazine launched in 2006, showcases the best places here to shop, dine and stay.
Three top picks are featured for each of the 100 categories,which include the best places to buy women's shoes (Gucci, Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik), the best bookstores (Borders, Kinokuniya and PageOne) and the best contemporary furniture stores (Cream, John Erdos Gallery and Xtra).
They were compiled based on surveys of Singapore Tatler readers and the society's upper crust.

Okay, it's more Advertorial than Editorial,(And hell knows how much the magazine editors where paid by the Top Nominees to have them listed in the book's honor roll) but it certainly lists with conviction the top places where the creme de la creme of High Society Singapore get their products and services.
It's no longer 'hear say' by friends but a definitive guide to be seen in the right places and to have the ability to converse with the poshest the genuine knowledge, the right stuff.
Mingling should not be random but backed with prior preparation...
