Infiniti Essence Hybrid Concept Car

The Infiniti Essence Concept Car is a hybrid concept car first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. The Essence concept was created as a celebration of Infiniti and its 20 years history as a creator of performance cars.

The dramatic design, technology and performance statement is a 600PS petrol/electric hybrid coupe with rear-wheel drive. It will be on display in Goodwood's FoS-TECH pavilion and also on the famous Goodwood Hillclimb where it will perform in public for the first time.

Every part of the car has been carefully considered, even down to the trunk space. Inspired by the early 20th century, when luggage for cars was made to order, Infiniti have worked with Louis Vuitton to create a three-part luxury luggage set that fits into the trunk as precisely as a sword into a scabbard.

JE Design Volkswagen Scirocco 2.0 TDI

Due to the popularity of diesel models in Europe, the tuning-studio JE Design has recently presented its new tuning package for a full coupe Volkswagen Scirocco 2.0 TDI, which includes even a couple of "Lambo-doors."

For the base 2.0-liter diesel engine in proposed whale, raising power from 140 to 180 hp and torque from 320 to 400 Nm. Maximum speed is 213 km / h (at 5 km / h faster than the basic version), acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h decrease by 0.8 seconds and reach 8.4 seconds.

The JE Design Volkswagen Scirocco 2.0 TDI also comes with a new aerodynamics package which includes lambo doors, a new front and rear spoiler, side skirts, a rear diffuser and a center double exhaust.

Koenigsegg Quant Solar Electric Car

Swedish super car manufacturer Koenigsegg has collaborated with Swiss company NLV Solar to start manufacturing their limited Quant concept car. The solar electric vehicle was billed as a “car of the future” designed to showcase NLV Solar’s nifty photovoltaic and accumulator tech. This enables it get enough juice under 20 minutes to power the 512 horse power car for 500km.

Koenigsegg's Quant twin speed can push 0-60mph in 5.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 170mph. The solar electric car features a four-seater with gullwing doors, 3-zone climate control, at least six airbags and all the usual electronic safety gubbins.

Peugeot Metromorph Concept Car by Roman Mistiuk

Peugeot Metromorph Concept Car designed by Roman Mistiuk - a BFA Graduate of Academy of Art University, San Francisco, has developed an astonishing vehicle “Metromorph” that will minimize if not eliminated the parking problem of the future. The concept car acts as an elevator to take you to the doorstep of your multistory apartment, at which point it becomes a balcony.

Here are the specific features of Metromorph from the designer himself:

Drivetrain- the vehicle is powered by two in wheel motors placed in the back. There are two battery cases on the back as well.

Interior- the seats are held by rotating arms which keep the seat level when the vehicle goes vertical or horizontal. When the vehicle is a balcony the seats are placed on a rolling base which enables them to become lounge chairs thus freeing up the interior of the car to make it a balcony. The interior is also left fairly hollow to accommodate the balcony mode.

Exterior- the car is designed to not look like a car vertically mounted to a building and still look like a vehicle when it’s on the road. So the wheels are concealed toward the inside. Rather than go vertically like many scissor doors today Metromorphs’ arms rotate closely around the vehicle allowing the doors to freely open in a cramped area like a garage.

Audi Q5 Custom Concept Revealed at the Wörthersee Tour in Austria

Audi engineers revealed the new SUV Audi Q5 concept at the annual Wörthersee Tour in Austria. A 3.0 TFSI V6 petrol engine with the Audi S4 with turbonaduvom and direct-injection FSI. Engine output is 408 hp (300 кВт) range from 6.000 to 7.000 revolutions / min and 500 Nm of maximum torque at 3.000-5.500 rpm / min. From danymi performance car accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.4 seconds, top speed is 250 km / h (organic electronics).

Audi Q5 Custom Concept was the original color of the body Daytona Gray and 21-inch wheels in 7-beam design, highlighted in orange. Wheelbase Q5 has become more of 90 mm and klirrens car was reduced to 60 mm.

It features the new driving system that provides select driving parktronik with the rear-view camera, voice control, system control lane, controlled adaptive head lights and stuff.

As for the interior, it features the racing seats S line, the steel lining in the foot, panoramic roof, textile floor mats with embroidered "Wörthersee 09".

Porsche Cayenne Project Tuned by Russia's Status Design

Russian tuner, Status Design may have gone a bit overboard with their Porsche Cayenne project, which is to be published at the end of autumn 2009. The material body of whale - a high quality plastic and carbon.

The Russian tuner proposes a ‘Fast and Furious’ style full body kit, with a completely new front nose, side skirts and even C-pillar wings rounded off by a new set of alloy wheels and two-tone paint schemes.

2009 Mercedes ESF S400 Hybrid Concept

The German premium car maker Mercedes-Benz has announced their new Mercedes ESF S400 Hybrid Concept 2009 — an Experimental Safety Vehicle meant for ultimate road safety. It is their first vehicle of this nature since the ESV 24 which was introduced at the 1974 Geneva Motor Show.

The new ESF features some of the most innovative technologies these days. It has an inflatable metal structure for crash protection, an auxiliary emergency braking system built into the floor, airbags installed inside the seat belts and reflective tires for better grip.

The Mercedes ESF S400 Hybrid Concept 2009 interior, along with standard air bag and restraint systems is fitted with seat bolsters that shift the passengers about 50mm into the centre of the cabin should the car sense that a side impact is about to take place.

Muska Supercar by Igor Krasnov

Muska Supercar, is the latest concept car of Russian designer Krasnov Igor. His latest creation is exquisite amalgamation between the Ferrari F430, Saleen S7 and the Lamborghini Reventon.

The rear of the Muska is certainly the most dramatic with twin, military jet afterburner-inspired tail lights that, while a bit large, serve as a very interesting visual statement.

Prachtige Lamborghini Sports Car Concept by Emil Baddal

Prachtige Lamborghini Sports car concept is designed by Iranian car designer Emil Baddal. His latest portfolio contains concept car that span exotic auto marques like Prachtige Lamborghini. The Prachtige takes styling cues from both the LP560 and Reventon, including the louvered engine cover, pointed nose, and center-exit exhaust. Baddal’s concept pushes signature Lamborghini styling even further than the limited run Reventon.

Volvo S60 Concept Car

Swedish automaker Volvo unveiled the Volvo S60 Concept Car that will be premiered at the North American International Auto Show. It features Collision Warning with Full Auto Brake and pedestrian detection.

Powered by a four-cylinder 1.6-litre petrol engine that features GTDi (Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection) technology, Volvo S60 Concept may develops 180 hp and emits 119 g/km of CO2, with a fuel economy of 5.0 l/100 km.

Volvo S60 Concept which will hit the market in 2010, the company also introduces the latest generation of preventive safety technology.

“The sporty design gives visual promise of an enthusiastic drive and I can assure you here and now that the all-new S60 will live up to that promise. The driving properties are better than in any previous Volvo. The car’s technology will also help you to be a better and safer driver,”says Volvo Cars President and CEO Stephen Odell.
