Ermenegildo Zegna, the Italian menswear fashion house known for it’s Sports collections, introduces the collection for spring/summer 2009. On of the main attraction of Zegna Sports Collection is a 'Freeway Jacket'.The Zegna ‘Freeway Jacket’ is designed to improve safety in urban outdoor travel situations. Integrated into the collar is a LED light safety system for maximum night time visibility. Made of a water repellent fabric, with a breathable finishing process which guarantees water protection, it keeps body temperature constant while allowing perspiration to escape.
An ergonomic contour conformation, with leather detailing and neoprene stretch inserts to ensure maximum comfort and movement in an urban speedster style.
The Freeway Jacket is made of Aqualite, used for both reversible and non-reversible jackets, which is lined with a thermo-regulatory high performance fabric. The Teflon coating on knitwear gives a water repellent performance for summer sports, guaranteeing a high level of comfort and performance.
