German sports car brand Veritas RS III will debut this year's London Salon Privé 2009 along with other supercars including the Morgan Aero Super Sport, Aston Martin One-77, Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S and Maybach Zeppelin.
The Veritas RS III carries a price tag from £250,000 and weighs in at just 1,170kg thanks to extensive use of carbon-fibre and the absence of a roof or a windscreen. Engine options include the BMW M3’s 4.0-litre V8 tuned to 473bhp or a version of the M5’s V10 producing 592bhp.
It can accelerate to 60 miles per hour in less than four seconds en route to a top speed in excess of 200 mph while delivering the most unadulterated motoring experience. Only 50 examples will be produced, and the first is making its world debut at the London show, which takes place on the 22, 23 and 24 July, 2009.
The Salon Prive will be held in the opulent surroundings of London’s Hurlingham Club, offering visitors a unique chance to mingle with the latest supercars and a host of irresistible classics.
