'Lost' is Lost

A couple of seasons back, I was first hooked on the drama 'Lost'.

This 'Survivor-on-crack' series was surrounded with such media hoopla.

The scenery is amazing. The cast is amazing. The plot was intriguing.

Noticed the last sentence had a 'was' rather than an 'is'?

Yesh. Episode after episode, season after season, people get stranded. People get killed. People get antagonised by 'others'. People get haunted by their past deeds. Shattered dreams. Broken lives. Living on a string of hope and dilusion.

Then, it gets tiring to watch when all you get are 'assholes with secrets' , 'assholes with a mean streak', 'assholes with a nack for torture and intrigue', 'ass holes who ought to get a life rather than getting stuck on an island'.

'Mean streaks, past flashbacks, secret rooms...' questions and questions but no answers.

Worse when now its just 'getting stuck with ass holes with a nack for torture'.

Antoginizing BOTH the main characters AND viewers.

It's such a drag.

Either the writers think of something fast or end the show soon with answers finally or 'Lost' is indeed .... lost.
