Beggars' Shoes are HOT.

Introducing :
Sanuk 'Sidewalk Surfers' .

The tag that came wit heach new pair reads these:

Tag line:
" THESE ARE NOT SHOES. THESE ARE SANDALS."

Disclaimer:
: " Sorry if you wer ehoping to find some hi-tech springs, coils , pumps or air-bags. You just won't find them here. After all walking naturally in these though, we're confident that you won't want ot wear anything else... but then again, what do we know? We're just a bunch of surfers in sandals."

These have got to be the ugliest but comfy-est pairs of lazy-ass loafers you could possibly own.

They are so anti-fashion , they are so cool.

These begger's foot wear are anything but dirt cheap.

They are hand-made and deliberately distressed .

So, in fact, prepare to foot (no pun intended) a princely sum for a pair.

You gotta have the attitude and style to pull these off (and a bit crazy to pay for one). Otherwise, the peeps at the fine dining will call the security.

And just maybe a coin will be tossed your way.

Step N Go

I'm the biggest fan of Dopie sandals.

I can run in them without the straps on.

I am just one of those fellas that run everywhere in them!

Such a conversation topic indeed especially in the elevators.

But THESE are just insane. ^^

They are Something else !

Step and there you go.

C-R-A-Z-Y.

I dare you to run across a busy street with these slices of bread on. .... heh heh.

Dopie Dawgs

Still on Dopies....

I was sufing their official http://www.terraplana.com/ for more cool stuff and I came across downloads for their recent ads.

Just HAD to put these on here. KOOL . :0)

I luv my Dopie !!!

Sandals Alert !!!!

I'd never be caught dead in campus walking around in sandals.

That was a passing phase of mine like so 3-semesters back. haha .

But that hasn't stopped me from lovin them. :0) And splurging on a couple .

I've a gal pal who's so into heels and spends quite a bit, evidently, every now and then on a few pairs. (Yo! Yo! Yo! Holla back Girl!! :p)

For me,...its simple sandals, perfect for the beach and island-holidays overseas or just walking the dog whilst feeling all preppy and vain. LOL

Of course , I wouldn't be typing an entry on cheap slippers, thank you bery much.

I do go for the mid to higher-end market brands because comfort and design are important to me. (Gawd -knows-why though . But it's important to anyone right... No?) .

Of course there are the usual suspects like Haviananas which I do swear by for comfort and I just luv their trademark ankle sling. I love their latest range thats 's been out since last year. Very sleek; looking like Roman sandals only rubberised. (Which is why I've got like 6 pairs)

Then there is the Braziliano Praias which I hate. Cushions nuts and caused me to limp badly for over a week the last time I wore one.
:(

Then there is Crocs. Not the bulky goofy (and common) Beach design though. I have a pair of expensive Offroads. Sleek yet aggressive. Insanely comfortable and grippy. I hiked a mountain in them ,yeah !!!!

Now I'm aiming for the Caymans and Disney@Pirates (inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean). Possibly an Athens too. (bare wif me, they are shoe-models' names).

Then there are the Campers. They look like Crocs, only less colorful and more sensible looking. More dress-upper. They come with soles. Perhaps... (Prices range from $70-300+ range)

Then there are Birkins too. But a lil too femme for me, I'd say? Too old-skool too.

But what I am truly in luv wif right now is

Terra Plana's
Dopie !!!

Simple. Stylish as hell (love the distinctive camel's toe front and simple horizontal removable strap for the 'magic-floating' look. ) and oh-so-comfortable.

Got a sophisticated BLACK pair a couple weeks back. Could well see me in a red pair as well. Maybe. lol

Not in in school though. Not on campus. NOT LIKELY.

Wink*
(Too much a T-shirt and jeans type of guy. LOL)
