TÓQUIO - O console de videogames Wii, da Nintendo, vendeu aproximadamente quatro vezes mais unidades que seu concorrente PlayStation 3, da Sony, no Japão, em fevereiro, com os títulos do Wii dominando a lista dos games mais vendidos, informou uma revista especializada do setor nesta quinta-feira.
A Nintendo vendeu 331,627 mil unidades do Wii nas quatro semanas até 24 de fevereiro, contra 89,131 mil unidades do PS3, segundo dados divulgados pela Enterbrain.
A vantagem do Wii sobre o PS3 parece estar aumentando: em janeiro, a console da Nintendo havia vendido quase três vezes mais unidades que o produto da Sony. O jogo mais vendido no mês no Japão foi "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" do Wii, com 1,33 milhão de unidades, seguido pelo "Wii Fit", com 309,311 mil unidades nas quatro semanas, de acordo com a Enterbrain.
O Wii vem liderando a batalha entre os consoles da nova geração contra o PS3 e o Xbox 360, da Microsoft, com estratégia de criar jogos inovadores e fáceis de usar para expandir o público de games.
