Thunder from Down Under

The fellas and Supermodel Tyra Banks, posted.
Mega club , Zirca, the one that replaced the now defunct MOS Singapore , recently, announced that the management's gonna make Zirca attract a whole new audience at earlier time slots other than the normal clubber which steps in closer to midnight.

Their solution?

Bring in a world famous All-male revue.

Introducing , if you haven't heard of them already, the 'Thunder from Down Under' .

Critically acclaimed and world famous for their high energy and performance routines; not to mention those rippling bodies and skimpy ' as far as the law allows it' outfits.

Girls are getting all hot and bothered I know. ^^

If it ain't Sunday, it ain't Fab.

I need my bumb and grind.

Was with Ed on Saturday at St. James' PowerHouse after attending my bgff's wedding dinner.

After the closure of MOS , the queues at other clubs are long. Really long. Was trying to get into O-Bar and the queue was long too. I just couldn't wait. (Actually the turn-off crowd was the main reason I didn't want to be there. And No I don't want to elabo 'case I start a racial war here...)

To cut to the chase and back to the gist, we ended up in the longer queues of ST. James' PowerHouse.

In retrospect, I should have just headed straight back home and catch up on my beauty RAM-Cycle.

See, by 3 am, I was so bored by the suxy DJ that I just had to leave before I risk ending up in comatose.

Never happened before.

Well, the crowd is blah-blah-blah and the music though nice , is NOT FABULOUS.

Q... because if it ain't Sunday, it just don't cut it.

No more Kandi

Sticky and Sweet. NO more.

Singapore's Kandi Bar by Hed Kandi closed as suddenly as MOS.

The stylish little camp-hang out with the infamous glass flooring which had caused many an unsuspecting high-heel wearer high on booze to topple and fall off an invisible step.

Scary. ^^

It's a deadlier fall than anything off a Vivienne Westwood.

It will be missed.
(Both the club and the topples. :p)

PS: The local clubbing scene is getting yucky.

Thank You for the Parday

Ministry of Sound, the mega club which poised itself as the big British club-brand that'll take the scene by storm and steal the thunder of Zouk, is now having its DJs spinnning its swan song.

Today, the management has officially announced to the media that it's closing its hallowed doors once and for all, marking an end to an era of wild pardaying for thousands who've thronged it's massive dance floors during the weekends during the last couple of years.

From the off-kiltch 'jungle beat' Pure, the retro-dazzle of Studio 54, the R&B-fied Smooove and the trance-haven MOS main stage.

Never before was there a congregation of so many wannabes and posers.

Never before was clubbing boringly sanitized by people who think they know how to club are really there just to pretend they are beautiful and hip.

(as get a** drunk and hanging off some one's shoulders; totally un-glam)

LMAO.

Anyway, the official statement released:

"The operation of the Ministry of Sound outlet located in The Cannery at Clarke Quay has ceased with effect from today, Monday, 6 October 2008. In addition, the License Agreement with UK-based Brand owner... Ministry of Sound International Limited has also been terminated."

"LifeBrandz Limited has future plans to redevelop the premises into an entertainment centre that will be different in concept from the Ministry of Sound outlet.

Future plans for the premises will be announced over the next few weeks."

Cheers to the Phuture ahead.

Woops!!!! hee hee^^

Saint James is better Merrier

Like a giant Phallus prodding the night.
Was at Saint James Power House last night.

Touted to be a hot club.

But I think not.

Seldom do first impressions of a club falls so flat. But, yes it did.

>The layout is haphazard. (The entrances are as unclear as the exits)

>The entrance-rules are rubbish. (Why can I only enter after 3am? I'm a paying customer am I not?)

> The music is crap. (What are the various themes again? It's all over the place!) .... The only song I liked the entire night was 2 minutes worth of Britney's 'Gimme More' club remix. Believe?

> The singers can't sing and the dancers can't dance (See, if I wanted drag queens I'd know where to get them.)

> and ...What's with the ultra dark toilets?! (This was supposed to be a Powerhouse, NO? Couldn't even check myself out in the mirror. So they do want a club full of crap-looking people...smudged , oily and all...)

Q

That's it. I'm going only on Fabulous Sundays if I ever were to go back there again. :/

Cool to be Hot

Hot stuff

It's nice when you walk into a club and Every girl gives you a second look.

And every other girl walks up and initiates a chat.

And then give you their phone numbers without even being asked.

(Some even reach to squeeze your biceps and attempts pulling your shirt up to check out your pecs)

Woo!!! Flattering eh? ha ha

It's cool to be Hot.

LMAO. ROTF. LOL. !!!! ^^O)

Don't get me wrong. This aint some narcissistic streak.

It's just having a great time because I always appreciate easy going, non-the-haughty and appoachable gals, anytime. :)

Indeed, the Neanderthals are a thing of the past. The BroNze Age has arrived. ^^
