Well, well, well, look who isn't actually Italian. Snooki, alias Nicole Polizzi, aka "The Ultimate Guidette," is actually -- wait for it -- Chilean,

her cast-mate Jenni "J-WOWW" Farley revealed during a visit to FOX's 'The Strategy Room' on Tuesday.

"So what does she mean when she says Guidette?" asked the semi-incredulous FOX anchor, Jill Dobson.

J-WOWW's response? "That's a stereotype that people misconstrued with Italians.

It's a lifestyle. Like, the scene that we're in. It's not like Italian."

J-WOWW is open about her lack of Italian heritage; she's Spanish and Irish by descent. Snooki is adopted by an Italian family, hence her surname. J-WOWW also revealed that "Ron's not full Italian either,"

referring to Ronnie Magro.

The Grammy Awards, once again ,came and went.

The usual controversies (other than the bitching of fashionista watch-dogs) such as the seemingly undeserving winners ( a certain Diva-Hustler got a bus loads of Grammies again) and incessant rumours of bribes and favours abound. (Payment in Millions or in Kind, perhaps?^^)

Nothing, however , is as controversial as having Snooki around, of course. Star of hit reality show, Jersey Shore.

Not since Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, Rihanna ,Amy Winehouse, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, had there been another celebrity with quite as many 'Scuttlebacks' in the fodders of tabloids.

But of course,

according to Wendy Williams.

Anyway, back to the gist of this entry, observers thronging the red carpet that evening had to do a double-take for , although, Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift were the darlings of the night, Christina Aguilera was also there? Eh?

Q .... Surely Miss Polizzi is pleasing the fashion police.

P.S: I think it is very nice that there are days she wants to 'be tall' and pile it up high with 7-inch plantform heels and her signature 'high-poof' hair and then there are days like these where she's just letting loose, be edgy and have a good time and be totally secure about not being a 5'10 monster girl in NY and LA . Fabulous.

"The Italian, whatever, national, whatever their organization is, they don’t understand that 'guidos' and 'guidettes' are good-looking people that, you know, like to make a scene and be center of attention and just take care of themselves... They are old-fashioned. They don't know that; they think it's offensive, because maybe in their time it was offensive, but now it's kind of a compliment. So they don't understand that and that is what we are trying to say. They are way overreacting to the show. We're 22 to 29 just having fun at the shore. They are just taking it way out of proportion.

Jersey Shore, the latest sin put out there by TV-trash net work, MTV.

Before you pass it off as yet another short lived fad, this show is very successful with big ratings and stirring media coverage. ( I regret the state of our society today)

It's up for yet another season of shock and stir.

Controversy sells. It almost sells better than sex , drugs and alcohol.And even better still with sex, drugs and alcohol.

Yes, it is about peeps with questionable lifestyle choices.

People who aren't rock stars but living it.

Some of us have similar weekends while others simply gawk in disbelief.

Well, as I've mentioned on U Tube,

it's great to watch booze and ego-fuelled train-wrecks on TV.
So that we don't have to live it to enjoy it and regret it . Perfect .:)

Drink . Drunk . Drama.
