They go on and on on TV, how we 'little people' can collectively make a difference to the World at large.

Seriously,
telling us that the Amazon Basin is cleared of a foot-ball field-sized amount of the Amazon rainforest every 8 seconds by illegal loggers. So what can we do?

The governments all over the world cannot be bothered to pump in money to stop it, what can we mere citizens do? Sign petitions ? (That's yet another crappola which I 'd talk about another fine day. )

I'd drive a hybird car if I could afford one and had either alot to choose from or no choice but to get one ... How many of those cars are out there by the way?

I cannot afford a Toyota Prius OR the taxes imposed. Period. And it aint my fault.

If Ford or General motors or Toyota or VW were trully content with saving the earth rather than profit margins, we'd all be driving hybrids or fully electric or ethanol-powered or solar powered cars.

If our governements are genuine , we'd be charged less driving these new fangled toys around.

Did we say that we don't want change? NO .


Yes, the climate change problem is a problem for us ALL, but we are NOT in the position to impose those solutions.

We ARE little people.

Thousands turn up for LIVE Earth. So what??

It's all over the news.

Thousands from across the globe will be raving by the stages in their respective countries supporting their favourite music acts, opps! I meant, the act to 'Save The Earth '.

The hoopla event is meant to let as many as possible to sing to the chorus of joining hands and making a difference in the name of saving the environment.

Look, I have one thing to say, at the end of the freakin concerts, all these concert hoppers and crashers are going back to , is booze , more wild partying and sex.

And a couple of hours later, all they are gonna leave behind (ok, 'shrewn' will be the way better word here) beer cans , mineral water bottles, used tissue paper, discarded food wraps and other unmentionables ....

And let's 'briefly' mention...
The whole area was probably cleared of its greenery to fit that enormous stage ( Why ? You think Madonna will perform simple Karaoke-style like it was on prom night? In retrospect she can't even sing for god's sakes!) and the trampling space for the 'thousands' of audience ; the noise pollution would have been devastating too.

That TIMES hundreds of locations world wide.

Now there. That's LIVE EARTH for you .

Chris Benoit ... A Hero?

I know by posting this could well cause here to be bombarded and boy-slammed by hundreds of Wrestling fans.

But as the Big Show is about to start here, and hearing that fans actually want to take the opportunity to pay tribute to the late wrestler (notice I didn't say 'star') , I really cringe. I do.

I worry at the impact such a enigmatice figure like Chris has on our culture and young minds out there.

...that it is 'OK' to commit murder and suicide? That violence can solve problems and make you rich and famous?

.... that the intellectual mind can be overruled by raw emotions and brute physical prowess?

I DON'T THINK SO.

So, with all due respects, and I 'm sure Benoit has done SOME good in his life , as MADtv's Vancome Lady would have put it ,

" Hehhhhh.... You know what? Eh! Eh! ..." (as in NO NO I disagree; hey take it with a pinch of salt ok?)

Chris' life and death circumstances should not be glamourized.

He would not see the steps of Saint Petersberg that's for sure.

So, they die-hards out there, sorry ,but you've just got to live it ; the tragic revelation of the TURE Chris Benoit.

There's just no fitting tribute. There shouldn't be at all.

The pride in us will say 'Job Satisfaction ' , 'Career' , 'Achieve that Dream' etc.

The fundamental truth of the matter why we all 'gotta work' ; getting that education and fighting to gain standing in the corporate world... is this one sore thing called

'The Need to Spend' aka 'Bills'.


Actually, when it comes to 'bills', it falls into roughly 3 main categories namely:
1) Entertainment
2) Personal Oligations
3) Civil Obligations

The first is 'For Pleasure'. The shopping sprees at the annual sale, the long-awaited holiday at that tropical island, the clubbing and booze, the week end trips to the cinema, dinning at that posh restaurant etc.

Then the second being the insurance, the instalments, the utility bills, the rent, the personal upkeeps (creams, spas, facials (don't think dirrrrty damn it!) , pedicures etc) and the credit card interests .

Then of course, lastly, you've got to be that good citizen. Pay the taxes, foot the fines (as in paying them with a hard swallow ( not again... lol) and not throwing them on the ground and stomping) etc.

Yeah, it's really a vicious cycle. Humans sucked themselves into it (Yeash, we all love to suck). Greed.

Well, at least you said you love your job.

Didn't you? :-P

Computer Viruses ... what a scam.

I am sure we all secretly hope that we didn't have to constantly upgrade our anti-virus software and scan for them ever so often for our computers and our D/Ls , don't we?

It's a hassle . And it's worrying.

Have you ever wondered what life with IT is like WITHOUT viruses??? How did this bane all come about?

It's been a while that I've had this theory. It's now I am voicing it out .
(And hopefully no undercover agent out there is gonna come knocking on my backdoor and shoot me in the head!)

" WHO ever poisons WILL have the Antidote. "

"Give me the SOLUTION to the PROBLEM you created."

Am I getting obvious enough?

The Spyware companies are the ones releasing the dreaded viruses onto the Net or have embedded the critters in the softwareswe can't live without, to infect the millions of unsuspecting computers.

So, that once there's 'a problem', they'll release their " updated" anti-virus wares to countless desperate owners all over, to weed out the offending V. Only to drop yet another bomb the next time a round.

And so good luck to ya'll having to keep paying these scam-artistes for 'anti-virus ' updates, annually.

Brilliant.

Wearing Green on Live Earth Day? NOT.

Firstly, it's LAME.

Secondly, I HATE the Color expecially if its on clothing.

And lastly, if you want action, DO IT. Don't just stand there and talk about it.

REDUCE. REUSE. RECYCLE. RETHINK.

That's the REHAB out Earth needs.

We've been through the education on this issue for years... and no one's taking heed.
Wearing GREEN is not going to change mind sets.

What humans really need is NEW TECHNOLOGY.

We are at the mercy of having to use fossil fuels for EVERYTHING. Our lives are run this way. WE DIDN'T CHOOSE IT.

But we hardly have the choice. I couldn't run my car on cooking oil can I? If I need to switch on my appliances, I just have to.

With more humans inhabiting this earth, it's hardly ever going to change.

So go ahead wear green for the rest of the year for all you want. I won't 'cos it WON'T make a difference.
